PERSOL has partnered with a prominent Perth-based organisation seeking an experienced Information Project Specialist to join the Freedom of Information (FOI), privacy and information governance team, on a fixed term 12 month role.

About The Role
This is a specialist governance role responsible for coordinating the organisation's Freedom of Information (FOI) processes, providing expert advice on privacy and information access, and supporting compliance with relevant legislation.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, executive leaders and external agencies, you will help develop policies, improve governance practices, coordinate responses to information requests and contribute to organisational capability through training and guidance.
Key Responsibilities




Coordinate end-to-end Freedom of Information requests.Provide advice on FOI, privacy and information governance legislation.Develop policies, procedures and governance documentation.Support privacy, information sharing and data breach compliance.
To Be Considered, You'll Ideally Have
Experience managing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.Experience interpreting and applying relevant legislation.The ability to provide advice to stakeholders and prepare governance documentation.
(Desirable)
Local or State Government experience(Desirable) Knowledge of the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act ****
