The Workspace Support Senior Technical Specialist is responsible for the provision of a range of customer services to support the efficient and effective operation of the workspace environment, core and relevant office business applications and other related ICT infrastructure.
The position involves onsite and remote support across ISLHD, including at a range of hospital and community health sites.
The Workspace Support Senior Technical Specialist will provide support with installation, configuration and provide resolution for tickets that are logged via the Statewide Service Desk for the Local Health District (LHD) workspace environment.
This may include the management of services provided by external organisations either onsite, in the cloud or from other locations.
The position will also contribute to the governance and decision making of workspace support services and contribute to the broader ISLHD Digital Health team.
This position will formally report to the Executive Director, Digital Health (EDDH).
The role will operate within the shared service model delivered by the SESLHD Workspace Team and will have a functional reporting line to the Southern Workspace Team Lead for day-to-day operational activities.

The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children's Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre.
The hospital is currently undergoing a significant $440M redevelopment that will redefine how healthcare is delivered within the Region.
