Are you an early career Speech Pathologist with a passion for child development, neurodiversity-affirming practice, early intervention and assessment?
This is an exciting prospect to join a growing Speech Pathology team within the Child Development Service, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical expertise, build leadership skills and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with experienced health professionals to develop and deliver health promotion initiatives, group programs and direct services for children with developmental delay and their families.

The Child Development Service provides strong individual supervision from experienced Speech Pathologists, alongside access to peer support and a broader community of practice.
You will have opportunities to contribute to the development of innovative service delivery models for early intervention across the ACT and apply your skills in working with infants, young children and their families.
The role also offers the opportunity to supervise Speech Pathology students, with mentoring and support provided to help you build your supervision capabilities.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Current Australian Driver's license Class C is essential
Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act **** is required.

As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness, and capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.

This is a temporary position available immediately until 20 May **** with the possibility of permanency.
