The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring plant reliability and minimising downtime across a busy production facility.




Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.
Fault finding and repairing production and packaging equipment.
Diagnosing mechanical breakdowns efficiently to reduce downtime.
Working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors, pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Completing maintenance documentation and work orders through the CMMS.
Working closely with production to maximise plant performance.
Maintaining high safety and food quality standards.
About YouTo be successful, you'll have:
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter).
Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage, packaging or a high-speed manufacturing setting.
Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance experience.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and rotating equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
