Position
Profile: This position leads, develops, oversees and
contributes to the implementation, monitoring and review of state
and WACHS-wide Child, Youth and Family policies and program
frameworks relevant to child and adolescent health and development,
through inclusive and collaborative approaches.
In addition, this position
works in collaboration with the Director Child, Youth and Family,
other leaders in this area and other WACHS teams to plan, implement
and evaluate policy and related programs.
Works in collaboration
with other agencies to plan, implement and evaluate state-wide
health policy.

Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the
largest country health system in Australia and one of
the biggest in the world, providing health services to
approximately half a million people, including
45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million
square kilometre area.
The organisation comprises seven
regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services
and health centres located across rural and remote Western
Australia.

accessible health services to country WA residents and
visitors.
