What you'll be doing
You'll provide day‐to‐day leadership and operational oversight of the centralised Administrative Casual Pool, ensuring a responsive, flexible and efficient workforce is available to meet service demand across the District.
Allocate resources and manage daily rostering to maintain fair, timely coverage
Lead and support a Team Leader (Relief Ward Clerks) and casual staff to drive performance and customer service
Coordinate recruitment, selection, induction and onboarding in line with NSW Health policies
Maintain accurate records,



validate timesheets and support budget control and workforce utilisation reporting
Monitor demand trends and implement workforce solutions that ensure continuity, consistency and compliance

Demonstrated experience in coordinating workforce operations or administrative staffing services within a complex, multi-site organisation, preferably within a health or public sector environment.
Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support a team, including providing clear direction, performance management, and promoting a positive, customer-focused culture.
High-level organisational, problem-solving, and workload management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage operational challenges effectively.
Robust interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and communicate workforce matters clearly and professionally.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply industrial Awards, human resources policies,



and workforce management procedures relevant to administrative staffing
Experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing operational processes, including rostering, recruitment and administrative systems within a staffing or workforce environment.
Demonstrated skills in the use of workforce management systems, HR databases, rostering applications, and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Knowledge of or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of NSW Health recruitment, human resources, and performance management policies and practices.
