About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our growing team on a casual basis.
This is a genuinely flexible role where hours are allocated based on client demand and project requirements.
As a result, hours will vary from week to week, with some weeks offering more work than others and occasional periods where no hours may be available.
For this reason, this opportunity is ideally suited to someone who:
already works part-time and is looking to supplement their existing role;
is returning to the workforce after parental leave or a career break;
is simply seeking a flexible role that can fit around other commitments.
The role offers a combination of remote work and on-site client support.
You will need to be willing to travel throughout the Perth metropolitan area as required, using your own vehicle.
About the Role
Working with a variety of clients across multiple industries, you will provide practical HR support and advice on a broad range of people matters, including:
Providing HR and employee relations advice
Interpreting Modern Awards and employment legislation
Conducting wage and Award compliance checks
Drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures
Supporting performance management and workplace issues
Providing termination,



disciplinary and redundancy advice
Assisting clients to develop positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives
Coaching and educating clients to build their internal HR capability
Delivering practical, commercially focused HR solutions tailored to each client's needs
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can quickly build strong client relationships, and is confident providing practical HR advice across a range of industries.
You will ideally have:
3-5+ years' recent HR experience
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Up-to-date Awards
Experience providing practical employee relations advice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding customer service and relationship-building abilities
Confidence working autonomously while also contributing as part of a collaborative team
Strong report writing and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well-developed Microsoft Office skills
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
