The role:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our dynamic team.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical cleaning services and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery owned by BIC Consolidated across our many worksites.
Position: Mobile Team Member (Full-Time)
Vacancies: 4 (2 cleaners for ACT and 2 Cleaners for NSW)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Work Location: ACT & NSW Regional Areas
You will be responsible for these key areas:
Working closely with the wider Operations teams, you will be responsible for planning repairs, maintenance needs and checks.
These duties include, but are not limited to:
Use of machinery
Hard/Soft Floor Maintenance, including scrubbing and buffing
Window Cleaning
Steam cleaning of soft furnishings and upholstery
Carpet cleaning and spot treatment
Pressure washing of external surfaces and building facades
Emergency after-hours jobs as needed




Biohazard cleaning and water extraction response
Assist with staff training on the use of machines as needed
Ensure compliance with all OH&S; and chemical handling regulations
Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures
Qualifications & experience
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Cleaning Technician is required
Hands-on experience with cleaning machinery such as Floor scrubbers, Steam cleaners, Pressure washers and Carpet extractors
Strong focus on creating and maintaining a safe working environment
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
Requirements:
You must have full work rights within Australia
Ability to use a smartphone for work-related tasks.
A mechanical tertiary qualification would be beneficial
A current Police Check and full Driver's Licence
Willingness and ability to travel to various client sites as required.
Must have experience in the Cleaning Industry
