($129,464 to $142,665)

About the role:
Cyber Security NSW, Commercial &
Business Operations team has a temporary opportunity for a Senior
Coordinator to join the team.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced operator to provide leadership
and high-level business support across Cyber Security NSW, ensuring
the efficient operation of the branch.
The Senior Coordinator is responsible for delivering
high‐quality
advice, guidance, and support across operational functions, strategies and policies
to drive effectiveness and efficiency in the achievement of strategic and
operational objectives.

About you:
High level organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Demonstrated capability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and maintain strong attention to detail while supporting a high volume of operational requests.
Leadership
and coordination of business operations and system-related activities
Experience coordinating
workloads, managing competing priorities and providing guidance to stakeholders
to ensure effective delivery of business operations.
Ability to lead small
project teams, oversee system improvements, and contribute to policy and process
development to optimise ERP usage.
Customer
& Stakeholder Communication
Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships,
collaborate with technical and non‐technical stakeholders, and
translate system requirements into clear guidance for users.
Experience
preparing documentation, training materials and reports for diverse audiences.
Strong
analytical, problem-solving and data management skills
Highly developed skills in
analysing system behaviour, identifying issues, diagnosing root causes and
implementing effective solutions.
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex
data, prepare insights and ensure data integrity to support informed decision-making
and operational efficiency.
Contribution
to continuous improvement and change initiatives
Demonstrated experience
supporting or leading process improvements, system upgrades, change management
activities and optimisation programs to enhance operational effectiveness.
Ability to identify opportunities for improved system functionality and streamlined
business processes.
Business system administration and support
Proven ability to manage, maintain and support complex system applications including troubleshooting, user support, workflow configuration, automation,
data validation and system enhancement activities.
Experience ensuring accuracy and performance while supporting business processes across finance, procurement, HR or other related functions.
Essential requirements
Can manage competing priorities, budgets, and timelines using structured project management methodologies.
Are skilled in managing stakeholder expectations, facilitating collaboration, and resolving conflicts to achieve shared outcomes.
Have proven experience in fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, mentoring staff, and managing performance.
Related tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
Must be an Australian Citizen with an ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 level security clearance, and willingness to undergo a criminal history and identity verification and ongoing probity checks as a condition of employment.

Office of the Chief
Cyber Security Officer
The Office of the Chief Cyber Security Officer
provides administrative and communications support for Cyber Security NSW to
enable the coordinated delivery of organisational objectives.
The team ensures
risk is appropriately managed through oversight of the commercial and business
activities for the organisation and provides high-level executive assistance to
the NSW Chief Cyber Security Officer.
