Your role
As the
Manager, Internal Audit
, you will lead and oversee CSNSW's internal audit function, delivering independent, risk‐based assurance and advisory services that support our strategic objectives and reform agenda.
Working closely with the Director, Chief Audit Executive and the Audit & Risk Committee, you will:
Lead, plan, direct and monitor the activities of the Internal Audit function in consultation with the Chief Executive and the Audit and Risk Committee.
These activities include managing the team's audit plans, workflow, performance, budget, resourcing, operations and systems of internal control – in accordance with TPP *****.
Provide incisive insights and expert advice to senior executives, strengthening governance, internal controls, fraud and corruption prevention, and operational integrity
Oversee audit recommendation tracking, verification and reporting to ensure sustainable improvements to control environments
Foster strong, constructive relationships across CSNSW and with external partners including the Audit Office of NSW and co‐sourced providers
This is a leadership role with real impact — shaping how CSNSW manages risk, strengthens integrity and delivers public value.

Key knowledge and experience:
Extensive experience developing and delivering audit strategies, programs and plans in a large, complex public sector or service organisation
Strong capability in analysing legislation, policy frameworks and operational data to form evidence‐based recommendations
