With a solid reputation in delivering technically complex, compliance-driven projects across Australia, the business is continuing to grow its Fire Services capability and is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Designer to join their Perth team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid to senior-level designer who is confident technically and looking to take the next step within a highly professional and supportive environment.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for the design and documentation of fire protection systems across a range of building types, working closely with engineers and compliance specialists to deliver safe, practical and fully compliant design solutions.
Projects span across:Commercial office developments and tenancy fit-outsHigh-rise residential and mixed-use developmentsHealth and aged care facilitiesEducation and institutional buildingsIndustrial, warehousing and specialist facilitiesPerformance-based fire safety and building compliance projects




Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and documentation of fire protection systems in line with Australian Standards and NCC requirementsPreparation of detailed fire services drawings using AutoCAD and/or RevitCoordination with multidisciplinary teams including fire engineers, building surveyors and architectsSupport compliance and certification processes through accurate and well-documented design outputsContribution to design development from concept through to construction stages
About YouProven experience as a Fire Protection Designer within the Australian building services industryMid to senior-level capability (minimum 4+ years' experience preferred)Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or RevitSolid understanding of NCC requirements and relevant Australian StandardsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a consultancy environmentDetail-focused with a strong commitment to quality and compliance
