What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will deliver efficient, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.

Provide safe, effective and timely nursing care in a high-pressure ED setting
·
Practice in line with AHPRA standards, NSW Health policies and clinical guidelines
·
Monitor, assess and escalate patient care needs appropriately
·
Promote a culture of learning, supporting staff, students and families
·
Maintain accurate documentation and actively engage in ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria:

Registration: Current enrolment with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as Registered Nurse Division 1
Selection Criteria:
1.
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
2.
Demonstrated critical care nursing skills and experience, demonstrated resuscitation experience desired.
3.
Demonstrated effective communication skills- written and verbal.
4.
Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
5.
Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
6.
Able to do a rotating roster
7.
Currently working in Emergency Department or minimum 6 months recent critical care experience.
8.
Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care.
