We are looking for a Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role is based at our office in West Leederville and does not involve working offshore.
Reporting to the Drafting and Design Team Lead, this role will involve:
Providing 2D and 3D drafting support to AME's engineering team;
Ensuring that all project deliverables meet or exceed project requirements;
Development of conceptual and detailed design drawings in consultation with AME engineers;
Production of installation storyboards;
Production of structural and mechanical design drawings;
Production of shop detailed drawings;
Drafting in AutoCAD;
Drafting and modelling in Inventor.
The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum criteria
Relevant Drafting qualification (please note that architecture is
not
relevant);
5 years' minimum task relevant drafting experience;
Oil and gas experience is preferable;
Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Inventor;
Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a small team;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic;
Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
Right to work in Australia is essential.
