About Us
Department of Customer Service (DCS) transforms the way NSW Government agencies interact with customers.
We are passionate about putting the customer at the centre of everything we do and adopting new technologies to make Government work better.
DCS is a service provider and regulator, focusing on delivering first-class customer service, digital transformation, and regulatory reform to create better outcomes for the people of NSW.
About the team
Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in DCS that is leading the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services to allow our people to better focus on their customers and delivering their services.
We are developing and delivering a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100+ agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.
What you will do
As the Infrastructure Product Manager, you will own the vision, strategy and lifecycle of enterprise infrastructure platforms including compute and hosting cloud services that underpin critical digital services used by thousands of users across multiple agencies.
You will treat infrastructure as a product, defining clear service value, roadmaps and measurable outcomes that align with agency demand, whole-of-government technology strategies and evolving digital delivery models.
You will work closely with engineering teams, architecture, service management and managed service partners to prioritise demand, shape delivery roadmaps and continuously improve platform reliability, security and cost efficiency.
Acting as the product owner for infrastructure capabilities, you will balance operational stability with modernisation initiatives such as platform standardisation and automation while ensuring services remain scalable,

resilient and customer focused.
You will also play a key role in managing supplier performance, driving service transparency and improving how infrastructure services are delivered and consumed across agencies, ensuring clear service ownership, accountability and value realisation.
About You
You are an experienced technology leader with a strong background in enterprise infrastructure or large-scale hosting environments and have a passion for evolving traditional infrastructure services into modern platform-based products.
You understand how to bridge technical capability with business outcomes, and are comfortable working across engineering teams, suppliers and stakeholders to shape roadmaps, prioritise demand and deliver measurable service improvements.
You bring strong stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness, with the ability to manage vendor relationships, influence delivery outcomes and ensure infrastructure services remain reliable, secure and cost effective.
You thrive in complex environments and are motivated by driving continuous improvement, service maturity and modern ways of working across infrastructure and cloud platforms.
