Project Officer
Location – Parramatta
Employment type – Temporary Full-Time, 35 hours per week for six months
Grade – Clerk Grade 7/8
Salary – $113,574 pa - $125,720 pa plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Join us as a Project Officer and drive the success of diverse initiatives that support our organisational goals.
You'll plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards, while working collaboratively across teams and making a real impact.
What you'll do
In this role, you will actively manage project activities and support teams to achieve agreed objectives.
Your responsibilities include:
Facilitate and manage end-to-end recruitment for project delivery
Deliver project management support: reports, briefs, resource coordination, and monitoring plans.
Maintain project documentation for reporting, evaluation, and easy access to quality information.
Engage stakeholders, coordinate committees, and facilitate consultations.
Analyse data, track progress, and identify emerging issues.
Conduct research, identify trends, and prepare briefs to support decision-making.
Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and limited resources.
What we're looking for
We're seeking a proactive qualified who can manage projects independently, make decisions within their remit, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Key skills include:
Experience and sound knowledge of DCJ recruitment processes
Strong organisational skills with an ability to drive progress
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Flexibility to balance competing priorities and negotiate deadlines
