What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Suite, you will provide safe, individualised perioperative care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
• Deliver high quality, efficient and person-centred nursing care
• Assess,



respond and adapt to changing patient conditions
• Delegate and supervise ENs, AINs and students within scope of practice
• Advocate for patients and coordinate appropriate discharge referrals
• Utilise resources effectively while maintaining professional and ethical standards

Essential Criteria
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care




Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
