Service Advisor – Gepps Cross, SA

An exciting opportunity is now available for a
Service Advisor
to join our Head Office team at Gepps Cross.
This is a key customer-facing role within our Service Department, working closely with customers, technicians, Service Managers and other departments to ensure service and repair work is managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for service customers, you will play a central role in coordinating workshop operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working directly with the Service Managers/Advisers at all branches, Service Admins,
workshop spare parts & Warranty Admin in the day-to-day operations of the Service Departments
Receiving and assessing customer service and repair requests via phone, email and in person
Providing customers with regular updates on job progress, costs and completion timeframes
Scheduling and coordinating in-house and field service/repair work
Answering the overflow of incoming phone calls from other departments (parts, sales, admin)
Closing and invoicing job cards (retail & internal only) ensuring job cards contain accurate customer, machine, labour, parts and warranty information
Work with Sales & Parts department on organizing machine pre-delivery papers and packages
Scheduling and monitoring staff training requirements and any travel arrangements
Creating purchase orders, entering supplier invoices and weekly timesheets
General administrative and ad-hoc duties as required from time to time
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a similar customer facing role
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills are a must
Experience working within an automotive, agricultural, earthmoving, machinery or similar equipment environment will be highly regarded
Robust focus on internal staff and external customer communications
Computer work/reporting required
