About us
The Unley Swimming Centre is a leading outdoor swimming facility located in Forestville.
Proudly owned and operated by the City of Unley for residents and the wider metropolitan area, the facility consists of an 8-lane heated 50m pool, junior pool, toddlers pool, shaded lawns, café and operates an extended season for 9 months of the year.
About the role
We are seeking a casual Group Fitness (Aquarobics) Instructor to deliver engaging aquarobics classes to a wide range of ages in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment, supporting the health and wellbeing of our community.
Applicants must be prepared to work in an setting with an expectation of high-level customer service satisfaction.
Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available for a minimum of three of the following sessions:
Tuesday 6:15am
Tuesday 6:30pm
Wednesday 12:15pm
Thursday 6:15am
Thursday 10:15am
Saturday 11:15am
Essential Requirements
Current Group Fitness Certification (Aquarobics)
Current Provide First Aid Certification
Current Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
Current Reporting Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certification
Availability to work a minimum of three shifts per week
Desirable Attributes / Qualifications
Ability to work across multiple areas within the centre




Current Pool Lifeguard Award certification
Current AUSTSWIM (or equivalent) Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification
Additional Group Fitness or Personal Training certifications
