The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Production Operator to join our team in a full-time position, supporting gas processing operations at our client's facilities near Moura in Central Queensland.
The position operates on a 15 days on/13 days off roster and is open to both DIDO and FIFO candidates.
Accommodation is provided while on roster.
Working as part of an integrated operations and maintenance team, you'll support the safe,



compliant and reliable operation of gas processing, compression and wellfield facilities.
Your focus will be on daily plant operations, equipment inspections, plant performance, reliability and continuous improvement.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced operator, or someone looking to expand their skills within this specialised field, who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their work and communicates effectively.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working across a varied range of equipment and operational activities, contributes positively to the team and consistently delivers quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safely operate and complete daily inspections of gas-fired engine-driven and electric-driven screw and reciprocating compressor packages.
Operate and inspect TEG dehydration units, flare systems and associated balance-of-plant equipment.
Monitor instrument air systems, bulk and waste oil systems and process metering equipment.
Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance personnel to optimise plant performance, availability and reliability.
Respond to, identify and address minor equipment issues and operational malfunctions.
Monitor plant conditions and promptly report potential breakdowns, equipment stoppages or performance concerns.
Identify and assess risks and hazards before commencing work.
Ensure the correct equipment,



procedures and controls are used for each task.
Report safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage and equipment breakdowns to the relevant supervisor as soon as practicable.
Maintain accurate operational records, inspection documentation and shift handover information.
Contribute to a proactive safety culture and comply with Entec and client site requirements.
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Process Plant Operations or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated experience working with gas processing, gas compression and/or wellfield facilities.
Current unrestricted C Class Driver Licence or higher.
Current Gas Test Atmospheres competency.
Ability to work a 15 days on/13 days off roster.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
Advantageous
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current Low Voltage Rescue certification.
4WD or driving safety competency.
Current High Risk Work Licence, including LF, EWP, DG and/or Telehandler competencies.
Construction White Card.
