As a
Business Support Officer
within the
Policy and Budget Group
at
NSW Treasury
, you will play a vital role supporting the teams that work closely with NSW Government agencies and provide advice to the Treasurer and Cabinet on financial management, policy reform and resource allocation.
The
Business Support Officer
provides high‐quality, flexible administrative and operational support to Treasury executives, divisions and teams, enabling the effective use of time and resources and supporting the achievement of key objectives while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace

Achieve success as Business Support Officer
In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Proven experience delivering high‐quality administrative and executive support for senior leaders, including diary coordination for Executive Directors and Directors.
Strong capability in coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities on behalf of senior management.
Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
Assist with divisional responsibilities specific to the delivery of the annual state budget and half-yearly review.
Assisting with clear communication of budget tasks, including administration of sector-wide emails and updating and maintaining internal and external websites.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills,
with flexibility to support increased office presence and occasional extended hours during peak periods such as Budget and Half‐Yearly Review cycles.
