We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officer to provide a safe and secure setting at a retail store in Darwin.
This role involves maintaining a visible security presence, preventing theft, and delivering excellent customer service while supporting store staff.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a professional security presence throughout the store.
Deter and respond to theft, shoplifting, and other security incidents.
Monitor customer and staff activity while identifying suspicious behaviour.
Conduct regular patrols of the sales floor and surrounding areas.
Prepare clear and accurate incident reports.
Liaise with store management and, where required, police or emergency services.




Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer enquiries.
Requirements:
Current NT Security Officer Licence.
Current First Aid Certificate (preferred).
Excellent observation and communication skills.
Professional presentation and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $***** – $***** per hour
