About the Role
The Project Officer supports the delivery of a screening roadmap program of work being delivered using agile methodologies.
The role contributes to planning, coordination, analysis, and continuous improvement activities that support the DDC Screening Roadmap.
This is an entry-level role suited to someone with foundational experience or understanding of healthcare or insurance operations, and a strong interest in process improvement, data, and business analytics.

Duties
Assist in documenting current-state and future-state processes for screening pathways and operational workflows.
Contribute to testing, refinement, and support with the implementation of process changes.
Assist with coordination of project activities, milestones, and deliverables across multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Support preparation of agendas, papers, and minutes for project meetings and workshops
Assist with basic data collection, validation, and analysis to support decision-making.
Work with senior team members to translate data insights into practical recommendations.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment, dependency management and optimisation.
Support communication between business, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
Contribute to clear, concise communication materials for a range of audiences.
Document requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure they will deliver the desired business value and functionality.
Support the preparation and running of stakeholder workshops.
Provide advice and documentation on technical issues to non-technical audiences,



specifying business requirements for new or existing solutions.
Build and maintain key relationships with users, technical staff and stakeholders to determine and resolve issues.
Skills & Expertise
Understanding of healthcare, screening programs, or insurance care operations (through study, work experience, or entry-level roles).
Interest in continuous improvement, process redesign, or service optimisation.
Strong analytical mindset with an interest in using data to inform decisions.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in a project environment.
Experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical or reporting tools.
Coursework or experience in business analytics, health administration, public health, or related fields.
Exposure to project tools, templates or delivery frameworks
