Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $113,574 - $125,720 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation

About the role
You will play a key role in supporting program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
You will coordinate and validate data from multiple sources, contribute to the development of reporting systems and templates, and provide practical advice to project and program leads on performance trends.
The role also involves liaising with organisations funded through the Arts and Cultural Funding Program, including reviewing submitted information and preparing correspondence and briefing notes.
This is a varied position that combines analytical work with collaboration, client management, helping to strengthen both day-to-day operations and longer-term program outcomes.
You will review and analyse projects, initiatives and operational processes to identify patterns, trends and emerging issues, turning data into clear insights that support informed decision-making.
Working across teams, you will develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards and reports, as well as undertake ad-hoc analysis to track progress and assess the impact of initiatives.
Your work will help ensure that programs are effective, responsive and aligned with the organisation's commitment to a vibrant and inclusive cultural sector




This is a temporary part time role working 21 hours (3 days) per week, with possibility of extension.
About You
You have a sound understanding of the arts and cultural sector, including how organisations operate, manage risk and meet governance requirements.
Familiarity with the broader NSW arts and cultural ecosystem, along with an understanding of financial reporting in a not-for-profit context, will help you provide relevant and informed advice.
You work well with others, communicate clearly, and are able to support project and program leads to make informed choices that strengthen both delivery and impact.
You also bring experience in analysing programs and projects to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
You are comfortable working with data, both quantitative and qualitative from multiple sources and can turn complex information into clear, practical insights that others can act on.
With strong analytical and reporting skills, you produce accurate, well-structured outputs that support decision-making and help track performance over time.
You are thoughtful in your approach, able to weigh up evidence and provide balanced advice that supports positive business outcomes.
