Nepean Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic Orthopaedic & Plastics Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their surgical journey—from preoperative preparation to post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.
You will work closely with Registered Nurses and Medical staff to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.This is a role that will see you deliver safe, evidence-based Nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assist in the management of Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery patients, perform wound care, dressings,



post-operative observations, monitor patient progress and promptly report any clinical changes whilst supporting infection control and safety protocols.

What you will bring to the role
Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work a flexible roster
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa
