The Role This role supports the delivery and sustainment of critical Defence capabilities within a complex and energetic operating environment.The project is modernising and upgrading Join Data Networks capabilities across defence and this position will be required, under limited direction, to perform and achieve moderately complex materiel logistics inventory, asset management and Repair/Maintenance work within an integrated workforce.
About You The successful candidate will, on behalf of the Project Manager, be responsible for:Logistics Support logistics support to, RAM, sparing, LORA, costing, capability transition, advising on Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC).
Sharing information, monitoring work practices, setting work priorities and developing local proceduresPlanning and managing of logisticsDirecting, optimising and coordinating the order cycleLiaising with suppliers and consumers i.e.



the project and Commonwealth of AustraliaSupply chain coordination and organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goodsProvide technical ILS advice for the development of project plans and procedures.Provide logistics support to the planning and design of the SupportSystem Constituent Capabilities related to the acquisition.Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the strategic and operational level.Logistics Governance & Assurance; Follow and implement Defence policy, processes & procedures, while ensuring record keeping standards are met.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following;Experience in a Defence projectsUnderstanding of Military Command and Control technologies such as Tactical Data Links would be beneficialThe ability to strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer servicesExperience of working in a multi-functional integrated project team is highly desirableExcellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Essential :Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply ChainA relevant MILIS competencyCurrent AGSVA NV1
