The Organisation:
Large federal government employer with huge career opportunities and the potential to advance.
The Role:
We are supporting this client to recruit 2 x APS6 data analysts for 12 months labour hire contracts.
There is the potential to extend for 1 to 2 extra 12 months periods in the future.
The work of this data analysis area supports national programs, and the team shares it time across a diverse range of functions:
Updating current Power BI reports
Responding to ad hoc data requests (internal and external)
Problem solving concerning the integrity of data feeds
Project reporting and support
Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports
Your role will be more technical in nature, focusing on the data analysis,
but there will still be some stakeholder engagement.
You'll need to be adaptable to changing priorities and scope.
The focus of the team and it's data insights can change very quickly and this role would not suit someone who needs a set routine in their workflow.
Your Skills and Experience:
First and foremost, you must be an
Australian Citizen and hold a current Baseline clearance
.
You also need to demonstrate competency with SQL and Power BI.
R and Python made be used in this role but are not a requirement.
Good communication skills and initiative are also significant for this role.
