Inspired by authentic Italian hospitality, we serve quality espresso coffee, specialty teas, fresh sandwiches, pastries and light meals in a warm and welcoming environment.
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and customer focused Barista who takes pride in producing exceptional coffee and creating memorable customer experiences.

About the Role
As the face of our cafe', you'll create memorable experiences for every customer by preparing consistently excellent coffee and delivering friendly, professional service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team from the beginning and help shape a café that will become a favourite destination for residents, visitors and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare high quality espresso based coffee, including flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes, long blacks, mochas and specialty beverages.
Steam and texture milk to a consistently high standard.
Prepare tea, hot chocolate and other café beverages.
Prepare and serve light meals including sandwiches, toasties, pastries, cakes and cabinet food.
Deliver exceptional customer service in a warm and welcoming manner.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness of the café, coffee machine and food preparation areas.




Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and replenishment.
Comply with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Assist with opening and closing duties and procedures.
Maintain records and reports for audits and compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Barista experience in a busy café .
A genuine passion for coffee and hospitality.
Ability to consistently produce high quality espresso coffee.
Experience preparing light café food.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work morning shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
Experience interacting with older people or working in a community focused hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
Desirable
Food Safety Handler Certificate.
Experience using POS systems.
First Aid Certificate (desirable but not essential).
