About The Role
As a Security Officer you will be responsible for maintaining a protected and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. The role involves a mix of patrols, incident response and client‑facing duties.
Positions available: Part‑time
Potential earnings / Award Level: up to Level 2
Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts
Roster (example)
- Tuesday: 11:00am to 09:30pm
- Thursday: 05:00pm to 12:30am
- Saturday: 10:00am to 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols to ensure the safety and security of people,
property and assets
- Provide a professional and approachable security presence
- Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies and requests for assistance
- Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
- Adhere to all site and company security protocols
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
About You
- A valid Security Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
- Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
- Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and punctual work history
