About the opportunity

As an Estimator at MJH, you’ll play a key role providing accurate, detailed cost estimates that support our clients, sales teams, and the successful delivery of every build. In this role, you will:

Estimate across single, split-level, and double-storey home designs
Generate site costings (cut/fill, dropped edge beams, garage calculations)
Complete sales tenders using site reports, satellite images, and Nearmap
Interpret construction plans to ensure compliance and methodology
Prepare pre-contract variation pricing and scopes of work
Review external reports to support cost accuracy

Liaise with internal stakeholders and assist with contract variations

About you

You’ll bring strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for teamwork, aligning with our values: better together, be accountable, people matter, think bigger.

2+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry
Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
Experience interpreting building plans and associated reports and documentation
Outstanding attention to detail and be goal oriented
Ability to work autonomously and in within a wider team

Demonstrate an cutting-edge approach to solving problems
