Requirement:

We require an engineer with the appropriate expertise to support the upcoming project. Please find the activity schedule below:

Project Schedule

21 July – Runbook Session

- The network team will conduct a runbook session with the assigned engineer.
- During this session, the engineer will be briefed on the activity scope, procedures, and expectations.

22 July – Site Familiarization Visit

- The engineer should visit the site for approximately 1–2 hours (around 9:00 AM).
- Objectives of the visit:
- Familiarize themselves with the site environment.
- Verify console connectivity and functionality.
- Complete any necessary preparations for the migration activity.

23 July – Cutover Activity

The engineer should:

- Arrive in office in the morning (approximately 9:00 AM).
- Mount the new switch.
- Join the cutover meeting via Microsoft Teams (11:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
- Provide console access to the switch using a laptop/PC and a mobile hotspot.




- Connect all cables to the new switch as part of the migration activity.

24 July – Day 1 Post-Cutover Support

- Arrive on-site at the start of business operations (approximately 8:30 AM).
- Provide support for any issues arising after the cutover.
- Once the client confirms that all services are functioning as expected, decommission the old switch and hand it over to the designated site contact.
- Please ensure the engineer carries:
- Cable labeling materials.
- A spare console cable.

Mandatory tools, equipment, and software requirements for dispatch engineers assigned to router and switch configuration activities.

1. Laptop with mobile hotspot connectivity
2. Classic Cisco RS-232 Blue Console cable (DB9 female-to-RJ45 connectors) + USB to RS232 (DB9 male connector) adapter with the necessary drivers for the adapter installed in the laptop.
3. UTP (Rj45-to-Rj45 connectors) ethernet cable
4. Apps:

- MS Teams app
- PuTTY

(maybe Team Viewer and Any Desk apps) installed.
