An excellent opportunity has emerged for a proactive and safety-driven HSE Advisor to join a high-performing team delivering essential energy and infrastructure works in Queensland. Working on a 14:7 FIFO roster from Brisbane, this is a permanent position with a leading contractor delivering complex and high-impact regional projects.

About the Role
As the site-based HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance across project delivery. You'll work closely with operations teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership to ensure safety is owned and lived on site.
Responsibilities
- Providing daily, on-the-ground HSE guidance to field teams
- Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments in line with internal procedures and legislative requirements
- Supporting incident investigations and contributing to continuous improvement actions
- Facilitating toolbox talks, inductions, and HSE training
- Building a safety-first culture through positive engagement and communication
- Maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance records
What We're Looking For
- Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- 3+ years' experience in a site-based HSE role – ideally in civil, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, systems, and audit processes
- Ability to build rapport with site personnel and influence secure behaviors
- Confidence working independently and making sound HSE recommendations
- Previous FIFO or remote site experience will be well regarded
