Are you an experienced leader passionate about delivering high-quality, community-focused healthcare services? Join Western District Health Service as the Penshurst Campus Manager, where you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the Penshurst campus and play a key role in supporting integrated care, service excellence and positive community outcomes.

This is a role for someone who values collaboration, leadership and continuous improvement, and who wants to make a genuine difference by supporting multidisciplinary teams, strengthening community partnerships and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and consumer-centred services.

As part of our dedicated leadership team, you'll provide operational leadership and management across the Penshurst Campus to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality services that support positive consumer and community outcomes.

Operational Leadership —
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Penshurst Campus, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in line with Western District Health Service policies, legislative requirements and quality standards.

Governance & Administration —
Coordinate and provide secretariat support to the Penshurst Campus Advisory Committee, including the preparation of reports, documentation, meeting materials and follow-up actions.

Quality Improvement & Service Excellence —
Develop, implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, support continuous improvement and maintain high standards of clinical and operational practice.

People Leadership & Workforce Development —
Lead workforce management activities including recruitment, selection, performance appraisal and staff development, fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture.

Strategic Planning & Reporting —
Prepare operational reports, policies and plans, providing informed recommendations to the Executive Director of Aged Care to support service delivery and organisational objectives.

Financial & Resource Management —
Monitor and analyse financial performance in collaboration with the Finance Department, identifying impacts and contributing to short- and long-term operational planning.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement —
Build and maintain strong relationships with consumers, families, community organisations and health service partners, while supporting service promotion, fundraising activities and community engagement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards, manage risk and confidentiality requirements, and identify emerging trends and opportunities to strengthen integrated models of care and improve consumer outcomes.

What You Bring

Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Robust business and operational acumen, with the ability to align services, resources and strategic priorities to achieve positive community outcomes.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across a range of internal and external partners.

Proven understanding of governance, compliance, risk management and relevant health, aged care and organisational standards.

Experience in workforce leadership, including staff development, performance management, recruitment and team support.

Sound financial management skills, including the ability to monitor budgets, analyse financial performance and contribute to operational planning.

Strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
