St Michael's Grammar School
St Michael’s Grammar School is seeking exceptional, passionateeducators to join our teaching community in a range of ongoingpositions, commencing in January 2027. We particularly encourageapplications from graduate and early-career Teachers, as well aseducators qualified to teach across multiple subject areas.
In the Senior School, full time Teachers will typically be allocated anattractive teaching load of four classes (or equivalent), alongwith responsibility for a tutor group within our House-basedpastoral care and wellbeing program.

We have a range of ongoing and fixed term opportunities in thefollowing areas:
- English and EAL (7-12)
- Science (7-12) with ability to teach VCE Chemistry
- Science (7-12) with ability to teach VCE Physics
- French (7-12), combined with another method
- Mandarin Chinese (7-12), combined with another method
- Textiles / Visual Arts (7-12), with ability to teachVCE
- Physical Education and Health (7-12)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective Teaching, Learning and Caring programs inline with the School’s pedagogical and pastoral careapproaches
- Model exceptional standards of continuous, autonomouslearning
- Support student wellbeing through active participation inthe School’s pastoral care programs.
- Contribute to the School’s co-curricular programs inaccordance with the role’s time fraction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture ofcontinuous improvement and innovation in teaching andlearning.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in the respective Educationfield.
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Anaphylaxis and First Aid certification
