An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Manager to join a rapidly growing, people-focused service organisation based in South Yarra.

Supporting a passionate Founder, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the business while managing a collaborative Head Office team. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational excellence, people leadership and strategic business growth.

The business has experienced significant national growth and has ambitious plans for the future. As Business Manager, you will play a key role in driving performance, improving processes and delivering an exceptional client experience.
The Opportunity
This is a diverse leadership position where no two days are the same. You will oversee business operations, mentor and develop your team, support key client relationships and work closely with the Founder to implement strategic initiatives and identify opportunities for continued growth.
You will be empowered to make decisions, influence business outcomes and contribute to the ongoing success of a well‑established organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Head Office team.
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the business, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Drive operational efficiencies through continuous process improvement.
Manage workflow, resource planning and team performance.




Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Manage escalated matters with professionalism and sound judgement.
Partner with the Founder on strategic planning, business initiatives and future growth opportunities.

Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and client outcomes.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

Demonstrated experience in a Business Manager, Operations Manager, Practice Manager or similar leadership role.
Robust people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication.
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with robust commercial acumen.
The ability to confidently manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
