An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale Cyber Resilience Program within a leading Australian university.
Working across a multi-stream cyber transformation, you'll partner with cyber security, infrastructure and architecture teams to deliver business analysis across technical initiatives that strengthen the organisation's security posture. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is equally comfortable facilitating workshops with stakeholders as they are documenting detailed technical requirements.
This role will initially focus on a major Network Segmentation initiative, making previous experience supporting infrastructure, networking or cyber security projects highly desirable.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops and gather business and technical requirements.
- Produce high-quality business and technical documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications and process maps.
- Conduct current and future state analysis and identify gaps, risks and dependencies.
- Work closely with cyber security, infrastructure, architecture and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support solution design, implementation,
testing and business readiness activities.
- Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills and Experience required:
- You'll be an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a proven ability to work across complex cyber security programs.
- Technical Business Analysis within large enterprise environments.
- Cyber Security, Infrastructure or Network Transformation programs.
- Network Segmentation, Infrastructure, Cloud or Security projects.
- Requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and current/future state analysis.
- Producing high-quality technical documentation and functional specifications.
- Working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience within Higher Education is advantageous but not essential.
