The Position

We're partnering with a reputable construction business to recruit an experienced Accounts Officer to join a close-knit finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the day-to-day fundamentals of accounting, takes pride in accuracy, and values working within a collaborative, down-to-earth environment.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities, while supporting month-end processes and contributing to the smooth running of the finance function.

Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including invoice management, payment runs and supplier reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable processing, client invoicing, collections and debtor management
- Maintaining customer and supplier master data
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Journal preparation and month-end support
- Assisting with financial reporting and compliance activities
- Responding to internal and external finance enquiries
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes

About You

You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines




- Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using Jobpac, Xero or construction industry ERP systems will be highly regarded, although not essential
