About the work unit / facility:
The Child Development Service provides transdisciplinary paediatric allied health assessment services for children aged 0-8 years with complex developmental delays. Working in partnership with families, the service supports greater understanding of a child's developmental needs and facilitates access to early intervention services and supports within the community.
Based at Kirwan Health Campus, the service also provides outreach across Ayr, Ingham, Charters Towers, Palm Island, Hughenden and Richmond.

Market-competitive salary and benefits:
Generous remuneration package value up to $125,888 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- HPDO Professional Development Leave and Professional Development Allowance
- Plus
options may be available
About your opportunity:
Make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Child Development Service. You will deliver high-level, family-centred occupational therapy care to children with complex developmental needs, while providing clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary paediatric team.
Working with a high degree of professional judgement, you will contribute to quality service delivery, support the development of other clinicians and help strengthen occupational therapy practice across the service.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Ocuupational Therapy (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
- Possession of a current Class C driver's licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
