The Opportunity

As a result of continued growth our Data, AI & Analytics team is looking to hire Specialists (equivalent to a Consultant/Senior Consultant in Big4 consulting) to grow our data governance, privacy, AI and digitised risk solution offerings in Australia. We support our clients by working in close collaboration with our legal counterparts and teams across Risk Advisory to deliver a best-in-class legal-led consulting services.

As a Specialist, you will also support Partners, Directors and Executives to identify and execute business development activities to build the Risk Advisory brand, including owning the creation of proposals.

During a regular week as a Specialist, you might:

- Design and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
- Develop AI risk tiering and categorisation methodologies to support responsible AI governance.
- Design a privacy operating model, including roles, responsibilities and governance structures.
- Assess an organisation's data retention practices.

We are interested in hearing from you if:

- You are an experienced consultant with demonstrated capability and expertise in data governance, analytics, or building digitised solutions to manage risk.
- You have 3-4 years' experience working on data risk management projects in a client facing role within a well-respected consulting firm.
- You're excited about using your data risk expertise to solve a diverse range of client problems with new, unique and inventive solutions, and assist in the growth of a unique and 'first to market' practice.
- You have an understanding of privacy regulation (including the Australian Privacy Principles) and data risk management standards (including APRA CPG 235 - Managing Data Risk).
- You have proven experience bringing high quality value to clients through developing data and privacy strategies, embedding data governance frameworks, managing risk across the whole data lifecycle, or advising on AI governance and responsible data use. You're also comfortable clearly communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
