The Role

Due to increased construction within LGA’s – Bundaberg, Fraser Coast, Burnett & Gympie we are actively seeking a Building Certifier to join our client’s team.

The role will be a mixture of office based and onsite works - reviewing applications & assessments, client liaison and onsite visits to complete inspections, checking permits & certificates to ensure building work meets the NCC and Building Code of Australia, along with relevant legislation within the LGA.

We are also looking for certifiers for an office located centrally between Hervey Bay and Bundaberg.

About You & Your Responsibilities

- Strong understanding of building codes & standards
- At the forefront of updates & changes to National Construction Code & BCA




- Self-managed to deliver outcomes to optimum timelines
- Proactive nature offering suggestions for continuous business improvement
- Strong desire to work with a focused and collaborative team
- Ensuring approved works align & are delivered within the NCC and Australian Standards
- Collaborative liaison within office, with builders & developers, and contractors onsite

Qualifications & licences

- AIBS or RICS member
- Building Certification Qualifications
- White card and current driver’s licence
