If you've ever wanted to build a mobile app from the ground up rather than inherit someone else's code, this is that prospect.

We're partnering with a well-known financial services organisation embarking on a brand-new customer mobile application. As the Mobile Tech Lead, you'll play a key role in taking the product from concept through to launch, setting the technical direction and engineering standards along the way.

This is a genuine hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with an external development partner delivering the initial APIs, while leading the mobile engineering effort internally. Once the app is live, you'll continue to shape the platform through ongoing API and customer portal initiatives.

What you'll be doing

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a brand-new React Native mobile application.

- Set engineering standards, architecture and development best practices.

- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the squad.

- Review and contribute to C#/.NET backend code when required.

- Collaborate closely with vendor teams delivering APIs and integrations.

- Work with stakeholders across product,



engineering and delivery to bring the product to market.

What we're looking for

- 8+ years' software engineering experience.

- Strong commercial experience building applications with React Native.

- Solid React experience.

- Comfortable working with and reviewing C#/.NET backend code.

- Experience delivering at least one production mobile application from development through to release.

- Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide engineers and influence technical decisions.

Nice to have
- Financial services or fintech experience.

- Experience with Azure services, APIs or integration platforms.

- Experience working on customer-facing mobile applications.
