About you

- understands, or is willing to learn about, disability rights and accessible communication

- can read body language and non-verbal cues

- is organised and can keep track of tasks and documents

- can keep private and sensitive information confidential

- is flexible, calm and non-judgemental.

Experience in community services, disability, advocacy, governance support, administration or meeting support would be highly regarded.

Formal qualifications in community services or disability would be helpful, but they are not essential if you have strong relevant experience.

Essential requirements

The successful applicant must have, or be willing to obtain before starting:

- a relevant Working with Vulnerable People / Working with Children clearance

- a National Police Check

- a current Australian driver’s licence.

Why work with Speak Out?
