The Memorial Hospital has 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit.

Are you an experienced CSSD Instrument Technician who is self-motivated and enthusiastic? We want you to join our dynamic perioperative team.

About the role:

- Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas

- Comply with AS/5369:2023 Standards

- Operate interpret and document all machinery operational requirements

- Report and document all quality activities

- Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes

About you:

- Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

- Sound knowledge of AS 5369:2023

- Certificate III qualifications or working towards

- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

- Intermediate computer literacy skills – including electronic tracking systems

- Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands

- An interest in promoting best practice patient care

- Candidates must hold Australian or NZ citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing
