Services span the full capability life cycle, guided by directors with extensive experience in the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) and the One Defence Capability Life Cycle.Expresion Of Interest (EOI) Description Capability Project Solutions are seeking EOIs for experienced Defence Project Managers to fill potential full time, on-site roles based in Canberra. Successful candidates would be responsible for overseeing Defence-related capability acquisition and sustainment projects. Day-to-day tasks include planning and managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources, while ensuring alignment with Defence policies,



governance frameworks, and strategic objectives. The roles include coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, including Defence personnel, industry partners, and internal teams, to maintain project momentum and deliver agreed outcomes. The Defence Project Manager prepares and reviews project documentation, reports, and briefs, supports procurement activities, and monitors contractor performance. These positions also contributes to continuous improvement of project processes, support assurance audits and compliance activities, and provides clear, timely communication to senior leadership and clients.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and familiarity with Defence or complex government programs.Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, business, logistics, or a related field are highly desirable.Experience working within Defence, CASG, or other complex regulated environments, and an understanding of Defence procurement and capability life cycle processes, is advantageous.Ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate Australian Government security clearance is essential.
