About The Role

LD Total is seeking a motivated Weed Spray Technician Supervisor to lead our vegetation management operations across metropolitan and regional South Australia. You'll oversee experienced field crews delivering essential weed control and environmental maintenance services for councils, commercial clients, developers, road corridors, reserves and public open spaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supervising, mentoring and supporting field crewsPlanning daily and weekly work schedules to meet client requirementsIdentifying weed species and determining appropriate treatment methodsApplying herbicides and pesticides safely and in accordance with legislative requirementsEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining WHS, environmental and biosecurity complianceManaging spraying equipment, vehicles, chemical inventories and site documentationBuilding strong relationships with clients, council representatives and project managersMonitoring team performance,

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work. Ideally you'll have:

At least 3 years' experience in weed control, vegetation management or landscape maintenancePrevious leadership or supervisory experienceCurrent ChemCert accreditation (or equivalent)Current unrestricted Driver's LicenceStrong knowledge of weed identification, herbicide application and vegetation managementExcellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

Highly Regarded (but Not Essential)

Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management, Horticulture or similarPesticide Operator's LicenceMR Truck LicenceWhite CardFirst Aid CertificateExperience delivering council, utility, road corridor or environmental contractsExperience using digital job management systems
