Forklift Operator

Our client is a leading steel manufacturer with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products to customers across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join their production team in Adelaide.
Your current role
- Operating forklifts to load, unload and move steel products throughout the facility
- Assisting with production processes and machine operations
- Preparing and packing finished products for dispatch
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintaining accurate stock movement and inventory records
- Following safe work procedures and contributing to a solid safety culture
- Assisting with general housekeeping and keeping work areas clean and organised
What you'll need to succeed
- A current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, steel or industrial environment
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience working within a production or manufacturing setting
- The ability to perform manual handling tasks and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
