About the Role
Medical Receptionist – full‐time position at Direct Radiology Fairfield.
This role is integral to delivering high‐quality patient care and requires flexibility to work across our Carlton and South Melbourne clinics as needed.
Responsibilities
Managing all phone enquiries in a timely, qualified and confidential manner
Front‐of‐house reception and greeting patients upon arrival
Scheduling appointments for patients and referrers
Issuing patient invoices/receipts and processing Medicare rebates as required
Entering and updating patient registration details
Ensuring the reception and waiting area is clean and presentable at all times
Qualifications
Strong customer service and patient‐focus skills
Eagerness to learn
Excellent time‐management and organisational skills
High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
Experience in a radiology setting, and exposure to Medicare services highly regarded
