Manufacturing & Logistics OperatorMetroll, a leading Australian manufacturer of metal roofing, cladding, rainwater, structural, and fencing products, is expanding its Townsville team and looks for a hands‐on Manufacturing & Logistics Operator.
The role combines manufacturing, forklift operation, warehouse duties and logistics support in a rapid‐paced setting.About the RoleReporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in the manufacture and distribution of steel building products, ensuring customers receive quality products safely and on time by supporting production, loading and unloading trucks, operating machinery and managing movement of products on site.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished productsLoad, unload and secure steel products for transportOperate manufacturing machinery to produce roofing and steel building productsConduct daily equipment inspections and pre‐start checksPick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatchMaintain a secure,



clean and organised work environmentProvide excellent customer service to customers collecting ordersComply with all workplace safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and load restraint requirementsAssist with general warehouse and production duties as requiredAbout YouCurrent forklift licence (essential)Current Australian driver's licencePrevious experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics or building products (highly regarded)Basic computer skillsStrong commitment to workplace safetyReliable, punctual and motivated with a positive attitudePhysically fit and comfortable working in a hands‐on environmentAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of the building or steel industry (desirable but not essential)Why Join Metroll?
