is an established, family-owned engineering company based in Welshpool, specialising in precision machining and quality workmanship.
We are seeking an experienced
First Class CNC Machinist
to join our team in a full-time, permanent position.
This is an excellent chance for a skilled machinist looking for secure, long-term employment within a professional workshop environment.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for the manufacture of quality precision components, including:
Setting, operating and troubleshooting CNC machines (Siemens & Fanuc controllers)
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Selecting appropriate tooling and applying machining techniques
Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality control
Working independently while contributing positively to the workshop team
What We're Looking For
Fully qualified First Class Machinist (Trade Certificate)
Minimum 3 years' post-trade CNC machining experience




Robust CNC turning experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude

38-hour working week with regular overtime available at penalty rates
