The Pharmacy Intern will support pharmacists with daily dispensing activities, including processing prescriptions, preparing medications, and assisting in inventory management.
Responsibilities include engaging with customers at the counter, answering basic medication-related questions under supervision, and directing complex queries to the pharmacist.
The intern will help with compounding tasks as appropriate, maintain accurate records, and ensure that pharmacy operations meet safety and regulatory standards.




The role also involves contributing to a positive team setting, following established procedures, and participating in ongoing training and development.Qualifications Foundational knowledge in Pharmacy, including medication handling and basic pharmacology.Ability to accurately process and manage Prescriptions in alignment with regulatory and skilled guidelines.Experience or training in working with Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy teams to support efficient workflow.Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and professionalism with diverse patients.Exposure to or willingness to learn Compounding techniques under pharmacist supervision.Currently enrolled in or recently completed a pharmacy degree program, meeting eligibility requirements for an intern role.Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and compliance with relevant pharmacy regulations.
