We are looking for a skilled and experienced Consultant - Anaesthetist to lead the multidisciplinary team and provide specialist anaesthetic services to patients while promoting patient safety and quality of care.
The successful applicant will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.
The position works towards achieving national, state, and East Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and targets in collaboration with the Head of Department Anaesthesia and other Consultants.
Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must be AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or within 6 months of receiving the fellowship.
International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as substantially Comparable are also welcome to apply.
